A precious mutation discovered in 2009 in Yunnan Yunxiu Flower Co.’s greenhouses, Jinhui Rose (金辉) evolved from the popular “Lipstick” rose—transforming from medium-sized blooms with wide pink edges to large 10–13cm flowers with narrow pink borders on a golden yellow base. Officially authorized as a new plant variety by China’s State Forestry Administration in December 2013, this cut flower gem captivates with 44–48 wavy, reflexed petals, creating a layered, three-dimensional look that resembles a dancing ballerina’s frilled skirt.
