Plant Characteristics: A compact and well – branched shrub with an upright spreading growth habit. It reaches a mature height of 60 – 90 cm, which is perfectly sized for balcony planting and small garden borders. It has excellent heat resistance and relatively good disease resistance among yellow rose varieties. However, its branches are slightly soft, tending to droop under the weight of blooms, and the delicate branches are prone to thrips infestation.
Flower Traits: The flower diameter ranges from 6 – 10 cm. The blooms display charming color changes across seasons: pale tender yellow with distinct wavy edges in spring, and deeper goose yellow forming a small rounded bloom shape in autumn. In the early blooming stage, the buds are plump and round, with subtle pointed petal tips (commonly known as “beauty tip” in horticulture), presenting an exquisite shallow – cupped form.
Fragrance: Moderate myrrh scent with a long – lasting and mellow aroma. It inherits the fragrant quality from one of its parent varieties “Honey Perfume”, blending a hint of spice and honey sweetness without being overpowering.
Flowering Period: It is a repeat – flowering variety with a single bloom duration of 5 – 7 days, producing clusters of blooms continuously throughout the growing season.
