    Took a bit of patience as the bare root took 3 weeks to show new growth, but it was worth the wait. The blooms are large (around 10cm) with rich dark red petals that glow in sunlight. The fragrance isn’t overpowering—soft and sweet, which I prefer. It’s fairly disease-resistant so far, though growth is moderate. Happy with how it’s filling out my garden border.
